CTC Appreciation Event 2022
Teachers, students, and volunteers of CTC were recognized and celebrated in a simple yet meaningful event held at SJKC Wangsa Maju. Approximately 200 attendees came together to give thanks to the LORD for His faithfulness throughout 2022.
The event’s highlights were captured and compiled by Ms. Winnie Lim Su Lin, a dedicated volunteer from Singapore.
Wesley Methodist Volunteers Visit
On a bright Saturday afternoon, December 10th, around 3 PM, volunteers from Wesley Methodist Church visited CTC to bring joy and warmth to the students.
They came with gifts, games, food, and—most importantly—their time and presence. The students had an unforgettable time singing carols, playing fun games, and receiving thoughtful gifts. It was a beautiful moment of connection and celebration.

Year-End Updates at CTC
Things happen at a blistering pace at CTC! Over the past two months, we saw the successful completion of our Gift of Hope 2.022 Charity Concert and Dinner. Thanks to our faithful contributors, we raised an incredible RM154,000.00 after expenses. All funds are properly audited under our NGO, Communitas Wangsa Maju Berhad.
Up next, final semester examinations are happening from December 7–9, followed by our Awards/Thanksgiving Evening on December 17. After that, our hard-working staff will take a well-earned break during the CTC Staff Retreat scheduled for December 19–21.
Meanwhile, a special shoutout to International Medical University’s Dental Faculty! After their screening visits in August and September, some of our students will be receiving follow-up treatment on November 22, 23, and 29. Thank you, IMU, for your care and commitment!

On Tuesday, Nov 15th, our dedicated teachers participated in a development session led by Ms. Leela Dass, a former Ministry of Education Master Teacher Trainer. We deeply appreciate her labor of love and continued support. Ms. Leela is a corporate trainer in English workplace communication and holds TESOL qualifications from London.
