We are always on the lookout for people who can help us with Web Design, Social Media Integration, IT Skills, who in turn can teach our students on a long-term basis on basic programming, and productivity software.

In addition, we are in need of Play and Art Therapists who are willing to volunteer their hearts to help our students who need help in psychosocial areas.

We also would love to meet entreprising business people who can work with us to develop an economically sustainable livelihood ecosystem for the refugee community here in Setapak.

Creative Arts folks are warmly welcomed to come teach our students in singing, dancing, drawing, drama and public speaking.

So here are other ways you can team up with us and give our students options in life...

So you want to get involved?

We are often asked if there are opportunities for involvement, if it is possible to help teach a class. While such requests are appreciated, we have found that unless an individual is prepared to help teach for a longer period – preferably a year – disruptions may result. However there are several other ways to help CTC:

Make a one-time financial donation or monthly pledge. As a non-profit, school fees at CTC are among the lowest in keeping with our service-oriented mission. A large part of our funds come from the goodwill and support of generous individuals, churches, and businesses.

Conduct short courses/workshops, or even a whole-day indoor “camp” during the school breaks. Commit to teach weekly classes for mid – to long term. Or share a life-skill. Talk to us about how you want to be involved.

Sponsor an educational field trip or a sporting event. Sponsor a child (talk to us about terms and conditions).

In-kind donation

These are material donations in the form of goods and services. They can be foodstuff and groceries, stationery, educational and electronic equipment, furniture, tickets to performances, and the like.

NGO Collaboration

CTC is happy to work alongside NGOs that offer anything that add capacity to our children. They are typically short-term events or programmes that can benefit the students or the refugee community as well, such as medical visits, life skills training, etc.
